Finding We is an experimental gold wire sculpture. It represents our group’s time together during the project. Lustrous and shining, the wire is soft and malleable, able to find new shapes and to support itself.
The wire retraces the paths we took together, mapping our routes and some of the terrain, and marking places of special interest, points along the path where we shared knowledge, experiences, ideas, and observations.
Wire is a new medium for me and I found parallels in working with it and my growing relationship with Inclusive Arts Practice.
